These men went above and beyond to fix our truck. We can’t thank them enough for what they did.
Very honest! Excellent work. Highly recommend them!
Great job on the rebuild of my Dodge Dually. Impressive work. Would certainly us them again.
I highly recommend these guys.
I traveled from B.C. Canada on our summer holidays and had some transmission concerns on my Ford f350. They did the necessary work that they recommended and put my mind at ease. They are all very professional.
Thanks for helping me out.
Brian.
What a great place! Friendly staff and very willing to show me what was wrong with my truck BEFORE they quoted me a price. They explained everything so i understood completely before giving the ok. It was finished in a timely manner and I was good to go. I will definitely be back when she needs more done. Thanks again guys!!
I'm confident with the work Scott does. I've brought multiple vehicles to him an was treated fairly every time. I'd recommend him to everyone.
This new review on April 8 ,2024 is an addition to a second repair on my 1994 Silverado . Again, I am pleased on how Scott, who is the owner of Astoria Aamco, serviced my truck that had issues with the Idle Air Control Valve , engine timing and Fuel Pressure Regulator. I had an issue smelling fuel coming from my motor and Scott nailed it. The repairs were spot on and I no longer smell fuel. Scott has a honest reputation with his customers and won't sell you something you don't need on your vehicle. Scott will show you the old parts he took off your vehicle upon request. That is awesome!! I don't trust any other auto technician in Astoria , Oregon other than Scott to work on my classic 1994 Chevy Silverado. Thank you Scott. Astoria appreciates you!! I am very happy with my visit in March 2024 with repairs Scott made to my 1994 Chevy Silverado truck. Scott has many years of experience and is knowledgeable when it comes to repairs. Scott replaced my radiator with hoses and Scott located a radiator for a lesser price. Scott is very friendly and he runs a honest business in Astoria, Oregon. The repairs were done right and I got my truck back in a timely manner. I appreciate Scott for his help. Thank you buddy.
Stop by to get basic advice on my transmission. Left wishing that he had a place in Portland where I live. If I lived in Astoria this guy would be my mechanic.
On a road trip I had car problems and headed up north to this shop. The gentleman working there came outside and really looked in detail and then researched what was likely the problem. My situation forced me to chance it and head farther north to a Subaru Dealer. Turned out the gentleman in the Astoria shop was correct. It was a particular part that needed replacing. It was kind the man at the AAMCO to take his time to give me an estimate and look over my situation. I really should have tipped the guy, but I was racing against time to get up to my destination. Thought I should at least write a review recommending this place. Being in this shop felt like something out of a 1970's action movie, something fiercely retro that spares pleasantries and reminds you that you are in a place will give you quality.
